Over a year ago, I had the great pleasure of wandering around Monet’s garden in Giverny with my family. Won’t say much more because the photos speak for themselves. See the idyll for yourself…
“I perhaps owe having become a painter to flowers.”
Claude Monet
Now that’s a garden I would love to see…if I can go back to France

Really contemplating the flowers, brings a unique peace when you look at its beauty of a thousand colors. Your photos reveal those feelings because they are superbly taken. It must have been a wonderful experience to have personally enjoyed them.

Stunning….beautiful photos. I have a gift form my father (who has passed away) of a Monet painting small ceramic with the water lilies on my mantle piece. I love it for its image and its sentimental value. Would love to go to the gardens in person one day.Long way from Australia and who knows when we can travel again? Will add it to my travel bucket list too.

That is definitely one of my regrets. Whilst in France there was so much to do I didn’t get the opportunity to visit the garden of my favourite painters.
